There are three main sales phases: private sale, pre-sale and the public sale. The private sale is invitation only, the pre-sale is accessible if you secure a allowlist spot and the public sale is on a first come, first serve basis.

Each collections public mint price is listed above.
Pricing is exclusive of gas fees and local sales tax where applicable.

Pre-sale buyers will secure Mates Rates on the listed public sale price.

An allowlist is running for the pre-sale.

Spots can be secured through a Federation partner, partner, by invitation or by winning a spot.

Allowlist buyers receive priority access during the pre-sale, meaning they can purchase an Avatar before it becomes available to the general public. While being on a whitelist significantly improves a buyer's chances of acquiring an Avatar it does not always guarantee success. Buyers must still complete their purchase within the allotted time frame, and the availability of an Avatar may be limited due to high demand. To increase their chances of success, whitelisted buyers should be prompt and prepared during the sale.

You can pay with eth or your credit card.

You can flip your Lil'mate on secondary marketplaces at the conclusion of the public sale or HDOL to redeem future drops. Trading will be available on Checkmate marketplace as per our roadmap.

Smart contracts are decentralized code that run on blockchain.

Lil Mates are issues as ERC721A's with ERC-6551 standards compatibility baked in. ETH is the currency used to make transactions on the Ethereum blockchain.

A pro pass includes a Checkmate battle pass and a competitive pass.

Pro pass's will be dropped to all current HDOLR's prior to Arcade mode season one. The time limit on passes will not start ticking until the competitive pass is officially available [Day ZERO] and you can play for cash, credit or crypto. The battle pass entitlement kicks off from season one , the clock on your pro pass won't start ticking until the competitive pass is available. Eg. you won't be penalised for any unforeseen delays.

Yip, its a bonus entitlement and you own it. The pass will be dropped to the current holder of the Lil'mate at the time of the drop, once activated its locked to the registered player account. If not activated, the time expiration will start ticking over 6 months after Day Zero.

Day ZERO is when players be players and it's all about the W. Some play for glory, some for rep, this is when it's about the big W for the moolah.

Some of the best battles don't come from division one battles. Great battles occur when you have great match ups. Our skill-ranking algorithm analyzes your historic stats and real time play to place you into a division with players of a similar skill level. The more you play, the more  games hosted  the more the algorithm improves to rank players against opponents.

Absolutely, the community treasury is actually that, it'll be allocated with the community to level up the game. On average 85% of online speed chess players are rated under 1100, division play will see major prizing fairly allocated across divisions

A wallet in web3 refers to a crypto wallet. It can store cryptocurrencies and NFTs and allows you to transact digitally with other users or markets. Think of gas fees as Ethereum blockchain transaction costs. Checkmate has no say in setting gas fees – they are determined by supply and demand across the network (blockchain).

A secondary marketplace is a platform where users are able to buy NFTs to add to their collection and/or sell NFTs to other users.

A 10% royalty fee is deducted from  NFT sales.
